Master Bluesman RJ Mischo Returns to Boise Saturday Jan 14 – with Hoochie Coochie Men

Fantastic bluesman RJ Mischo returns to Boise to follow up his energy charged performance at this year’s Boise Blues Festival in July.

UPDATE: LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR JUST $18!!

Mischo, master of the blues harp and voice, returns to Boise on Saturday, January 14 at Playhouse Boise.  RJ is one of the best blues harmonica players anywhere! He showed his prodigious skills accompanying the Andy T band at the festival, and now Boise Blues Society is bringing him back for his own show.

Mischo will be backed for this performance by Boise’s own long-time blues stars, The Hoochie Coochie Men!

Mischo has long been considered in the upper echelon of the world’s blues harp players. His music is drenched in the grease of the juke joint shuffles that have stayed in style since before they called it Rock & Roll. Mischo’s magnificent tone, formidable chops, and affable, self-assured vocals make him a top entertainer; the kind of entertainer that only 25 years of touring experience will bring to the stage. You won’t want to miss this outstanding performance!

Door $18. Show at 7:30pm. Doors at 6:30. Come early for best seat selection and for a free blues dance lesson with Robyn Watson and Craig Crist of Kickin’ It Dance (6:45). You may want to visit the large inviting dance floor at some point during RJ’s show, he will definitely get you moving!

Playhouse Boise is at 8001 W Fairview, near the intersection of Fairview and Milwaukee. Food and full bar available.
