John Clifton Blues Band @ Sapphire Room
May 6 @ 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Boise Blues Society is happy to welcome the John Clifton Blues Band back to Boise! The band played last summer’s Blues & Bones Festival in Eagle and made lots of new fans in their first visit to Idaho. Clifton has headlined and performed at major Blues Festivals in the US and abroad, playing more than 150 dates a year. He has also toured and recorded with Big Bill Morganfield, Blues Hall of Fame member and son of Muddy Waters.

“John Clifton may not be a name that instantly leaps to mind like many of the West Coast blues scene harmonica players, but maybe it’s time it should be as he is right there with the best.” — Cascade Blues Association (Portland)

BOISE BLUES FESTIVAL @ Reid Merrill Park
Jul 16 @ 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Our 2017 festival includes the return of 3 of our most crowd-pleasing touring musicians of recent years, 2 of Boise’s most popular local blues bands, and an 85-year-old Mississippi blues icon who’s been playing and singing the blues for more than 70 years. You can’t get much more blues history than that!

We look forward to having you join us for an afternoon of great blues at Reid Merrill Park, Eagle, on Sunday, July 16.
