Another great music weekend headlined by a long-time touring blues icon! This year’s headliner is SCOTT ELLISON, talented singer-songwriter, guitarist, and blues-rocker from Tulsa, Oklahoma. A veteran of more than 40 years playing the blues professionally, and still going strong with some 200 shows a year throughout North America.

“Ellison is a prolific songwriter, and his work reflects influences from the British Blues Invasion, Motown, and Memphis rhythm and blues.” –Blues in Britain

“Banks” will feature TWO NIGHTS of entertainment again this year! Popular local blues band JAKE LEG will open Saturday’s show at 6:30pm, and Ellison will headline immediately after. Jake Leg will also play Friday, Aug 3, 8-10pm. The DEBOARAH MICHELS GANG opens Friday’s show, 7-8pm.

Blues on the Banks sponsor Boise Blues Society is proud to bring yet another entertainer of Scott Ellison’s talent and blues heritage to this popular event. Recent shows have sold out, including the past 2 years with Dennis Jones and Studebaker John.

The best deal is to buy your full weekend tickets in advance, to cover both nights for just $15. Friday’s show is included with this purchase, just show your printed or mobile ticket.

Or if you can only attend FRIDAY Night’s Show, admittance to that is a $5 cover (cash please) at the door. Saturday’s door price (if not sold out early) will be $20. Both shows are all ages shows. 12 and under free. Over 12 will need a ticket. Doors open one hour before show time each night.
