Once again this year, Boise Blues Society will be producing a series of local blues bands at Riverside Hotel’s Sandbar Lounge all Labor Day weekend, for Friday, August 31 to Monday, September 3. This year’s series is part of the Riverside’s Blues and Arts Weekend. Come on out and enjoy blues on the riverfront all weekend long. Sandbar will be providing its usual food menu and full bar. All ages shows.

Jake Leg Blues Band of Boise Idaho rips it up on the Allman Brothers classic, “Whipping Post”, at the 2018 Blues on the Banks in Caldwell, on opening night, August 3, 2018. Front and center include Dale Wilson on blues harp, Brooke Nicole on vocals, Thomas Wilson and Bob Solomon on the dual guitars. Really top notch musicians all around!

Jake Leg will open the final night of Blues on the Banks tonight (Saturday) at 6:30pm, followed by the headliner, Scott Ellison Band, from Tulsa. It’s sure to be a fantastic night of blues-rock.
