Video: ‘Blues in the Schools’ rocks Treasure Valley students by Michael Deeds
In 2006, the nonprofit Boise Blues Society launched “Blues in the Schools,” an outreach program to teach kids about blues music.
But in recent years, the Society has found schools less receptive. Why? President Ken Harris isn’t sure. Tighter curriculums, perhaps?
