Enjoy Plentiful Live Blues!

If you’re looking for live blues music, you’ll find plenty of it right here in Idaho. A key component of the Idaho Blues Society’s mission is to spread knowledge and appreciation of blues music throughout the state. One of the key ways we do this is hosting live artist performances. We seek out and work closely with local and touring bands, as well as music venues, to provide blues fans with opportunities to see and hear their favorite local and touring bands. You’ll often find blues performances at these venues:

 

  • Sapphire Room, Riverside Hotel, 2900 Chinden Blvd, Boise
    An all-ages indoor venue featuring a full-service bar, full dinner service at your reserved table, and excellent sound and lighting
  • Sandbar, Riverside Hotel, 2900 Chinden Blvd, Boise
    An all-ages outdoor patio bar and grill along the Boise Greenbelt and River offering a full-service bar and fresh, grilled cuisine.
  • Eagles Lodge, 7025 W Overland Rd, Boise
    A casual gathering place with discounted drinks, pizza and snacks, and a large dance floor for blues fans. All ages in band/dance area; 21+ in bar
  • Players Pub & Grill (inside Westy’s Garden Lanes), 5504 Alworth St, Garden City
    A 21+ casual venue providing a full-service bar, delicious pub food, and a roomy dance floor
