Become a Boise Blues Society Sponsor
As a Boise Blues Society sponsor, you will be supporting the premier organization that acts as the ambassador for the blues in Idaho. Your sponsorship dollars help support our programs, from major Blue shows, Blues in the Schools, Instruments in the Schools and various other music scholarships and programs.
BBS sponsors get their logo on all print and electronic marketing efforts which are linked to your online presence. This includes our website, Facebook page, and all marketing efforts we send out to promote our events. We currently have approximately 900 names in our database, and push out show announcements about six-eight times per show. We also regularly promote the Tuesdays Blues night at the Sandbar throughout the summer months. The total number of electronic impressions is roughly 75,000 per year. You will also have the ability to have your company literature available at sponsored shows and the opportunity to speak to our audiences.
The BBS is a nonprofit corporation, with your sponsorship and donation tax deductible. The Boise Blues Society is managed by a board of directors who volunteer their service to promote our mission. Board members consist of both musicians and non-musicians who appreciate blues music and its unique American history.
Sponsors may donate generally to the Society or focus on specific programs or events. Please also be assured that appropriate appreciation and recognition of your sponsorship will be provided by the Boise Blues Society on our website and at any specific events that are sponsored.

Your Sponsorships Supports our Ongoing Community Programs
We are a 501c3 non-profit and all our proceeds go to support our local programs.
Blues in the Schools
Our Blues in the Schools (BITS) program brings full blues bands to local schools to play shows and educate students on the uniquely American Blues genre. These fun and educational events are held at public and private elementary, middle and secondary school in the Treasure Valley, Mountain Home, Ketchum and Hailey.
BBS Youth and Boise State University Scholarships
Young musicians who meet our criteria can receive an award of $500 from the Boise Blues Society. Awards have been provided to guitarists, horn musicians and vocalists over the years. Many of these talented recipients have become professional musicians.
The BBS has also established an endowment at Boise State University in partnership with the Riverside Hotel. Deserving music students in the BSU Jazz program receive annual scholarship awards.
Instruments in the Schools
The Boise Blues Society also administrates an Instrument Repair and School Donation program. Instruments no longer used by area musicians are gifted to BBS for repair and then donated to area school-music programs in need.
Boise Blues Society Jams
Our monthly BBS Blues Jam is hosted at Watsons Theatre. The Jam is for all experience levels and provides opportunity for like-minded people to listen and/or play and enjoy the blues on the last Sunday of every month. Several local bands have been created and added band members through the visibility that the jam provides.
Blues Music Events Produced by the BBS
The Boise Blues Society produces nearly 50 shows per year in Boise. This includes nationally known touring acts and our incredibly talented local blues bands. All proceeds from our event go to support our community outreach programs. Blues Music Programming is supported in part by-
The Western States Art Federation (WESTAF) and The National Endowment For The Arts
