Each year, as funds allow, the Boise Blues Society (BBS) will award scholarships to promising young student musicians who have shown a particular interest in the blues.

Each winner will receive a check for $500, to be used to further her/his musical development. Winners will be presented with their awards at our May or June blues jam session. Photos of winners may be used by BBS for promotional purposes.

To qualify, you must be a current student in 1st through 12th grade, and you must have performed on stage in at least one of our monthly public blues jam sessions.

We accept applications between March 1 and May 1 each year. Click here to view a printable version of the BBS Student Scholarship Application Form.
