The Boise Blues Society has received musical instruments and equipment as a part of its Instrument Repair and Donation program from community members donating musical equipment for which they no longer need. Equipment has been inspected and functional, with no major issues. BBS is providing this program for youth in order to promote music for our youth, particularly for beginners or emerging musicians.
Students interested in applying for a donated instrument should complete the attached application, clearly indicating the type of instrument or equipment you would be interested in receiving. Once a completed application is completed online, supportive information can be uploaded to the website, including parental permission to receive the equipment, along with a recommendation from your music teacher. Students also need to document attending at least one of the official monthly Boise Blues Society Jam sessions, which is open to all ages and experience levels.
