Your donations to BBS will be supporting the premier organization that acts as the ambassador for the blues in Idaho. Your sponsorship dollars help support our programs, from major Blue shows, Blues in the Schools, and various music scholarships. You will be there on the front lines with us as we seek out the next great blues talent via The Boise Blues scholarship fund or by helping a young musician develop his or her blues skills at a summer camp or workshop. In exchange for your membership, you will gain access to information, discounts, and event announcements and will be the first to hear of special Blues Foundation program initiatives and offers. But most importantly, you will become part of this fantastic Blues family which shares your love of the Blues, past, present and future.

Youth Development
We bring blues musicians into local schools to teach and entertain, free of charge. Being actively engaged in making music boosts cognitive function in kids, a positive effect that spills over into other areas of their lives. Blues music traditionally encourages spontaneous creativity within a loose structure that can be easily learned and infinitely varied, making it ideal for participation at any level of musical ability.
